Arrive in Yaroslavl, which traces its origins back to the Vikings. Here, a sightseeing exploration illuminates the city’s history through its glorious architecture, including Spassky Monastery and the Church of Elia the Prophet.

Day 7 - Goritsy, White Lake

Dock in Goritsy and visit the Monastery of St Cyril on the White Lake and its Museum of Icons. Later, cruise the White Lake.

Day 8 - Lake Onega, Kizhi Island

Situated on Lake Onega, Kizhi Island is home to some of Russia’s most amazing wooden architecture. Marvel at the Transfiguration Church, built in 1714 without nails.

After cruising through the night, dock in the village of Mandrogi, teeming with traditional houses.

Day 10 - St Petersburg

The City of Tsars. The Venice of the North. Russia’s hub for the arts. Whichever way you describe St Petersburg, it certainly does not disappoint. Board a Hydrofoil and travel to Peterhof Palace for a guided tour. After lunch, visit St Isaac’s Cathedral, the Nevsky Prospect and the Peter & Paul Fortress.

Day 11 - St Petersburg

Take a Hydrofoil ride to the State Hermitage where an exclusive experience has been arranged.

Day 16 - Helsinki, Tallinn

Relax as you enjoy a ferry ride across the Baltic Sea to Estonia’s Tallinn. To help make the journey an enjoyable one, you will enjoy the benefits of seating in the Business Lounge on the ferry, which offers more luxurious seating, as well as food and drinks in the buffet. Arrive at your accommodation in Tallinn, where the hotel's building dates back to medieval times. Day 18 - Tallinn, Parnu, Dikli

On your way to Latvia, visit Pärnu, known for its 19th-century timber villas and Pärnu Beach. Tonight's accommodation is special, housed in a former 19th-century villas built for the nobles of Russia, as well as a former miltary hospital built in 1918. The property has since been restored to its former glory and features a spectacular bridge house. Tonight's dining experience is at your hotel's restaurant, serving fine Mediterranean cuisine with a touch of nostalgic Latvian flavours.

Day 19 - Dikli, Sigulda, Riga

Stop in Sigulda to visit to the Turaida Museum Reserve, which houses Turaida Stone Castle. This remarkable monument's construction began in 1214 for Albert of Riga, with its name meaning 'Thor's Garden' in Livonian. Long after being abandoned in 1776, regular archaeological excavations were carried out from 1976, which were followed by restoration and conservation works. To gain first-hand experience, your local expert showing you around the castle was took part in the excavations. Afterwards, see Sigulda's bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track, before arriving in Riga.
